How is SELLEA used?

There are five key components in usage of SELLEA

1) Set-up which is the process in which required data is sourced and hardware prepared for utilisation

1) Set-Up

Usage of SELLEA always starts with a Set-up (configuration). During this exercise TrimTab team will deliver and explain the input data specification and the bank will develop procedures to source the required data. TrimTab consultants will be available to offer any clarification the bank may need.

If the bank is using Pay-as-you go approach, TrimTab team will install the SELLEA application on the hardware provided by the bank. In case that the bank decides to purchase monthly subscriptions, TrimTab will provide the hardware* preloaded with SELLEA software.

*PC only, externals (keyboard, mouse and screen) are not provided

2) monthly load of input-data which is performed by the bank in accordance with Set-up definitions

2) Input data

Input Data is delivered by the bank according to definitions resulting from Set-up sessions in a pre-defined format and into a pre-defined location on the bank’s infrastructure. The data is delivered monthly.

3) Sales objective which is the offering in a campaign for which the target-list is being generated

3) Sales Objective

A Sales Objective is an offering in an upcoming campaign. It may be a product, service or a package that the bank desires to sell. Selection methods for different Sales Objectives often use the same Input Data, but are always developed independently.

Selection methods for existing Sales Objectives will be periodically enhanced and versioned (SELLEA retains backward compatibility so that the bank may continue using the version until required changes to Input data can be implemented). Additionally, new Sales Objectives will be added to SELLEA as they are developed and will be available to banks immediately (in case that the new selection method requires existing Input Data) or after a Set-up refresh (in case that new data is required).

    Currently available Sales Objectives are:

  • Cross-Sell of Term Deposits for Individuals
  • Up-Sell of Term Deposits for Individuals
  • Cross-Sell of Credit Cards for Individuals
  • Cross-Sell of Overdrafts for Individuals
  • Cross-Sell of Cash Loans for Individuals and
  • Up-Sell of Cash Loans for Individuals

4) Lead selection procedure which instructs the system to produce the target-list based on desired number of leads (the most likely buyers among clients) for a specific sales objective (product to sell) which will be offered in the campaign

4) Lead Selection

Lead Selection is performed per Sales Objective by indicating number of desired leads (e.g. 2,500 leads for Credit Cards).

If the bank is using the Pay-as-you-go approach, the bank’s operator will enter the desired number* of leads in the online ordering system and receive an Activation Key which is entered into the SELLEA software to produce the lead selection. If SELLEA models do not identify the desired number of leads, the bank will receive a return code which will issue a credit to the bank for the missing number of leads.

*Number of leads is always limited by a minimum and a maximum which are set depending on the bank size to allow for optimal performance of SELLEA models.

5)Account management which is performed through an online billing system

5) Account Management

SELLEA portal allows the bank to order leads or monthly subscriptions and manage and track invoices and payments. Once services have been ordered, SELLEA portal delivers Activation Keys which are entered into SELLEA software to produce lead selection.
